Back on Track ?

2003-07-29 12:55 by Pat Hardy

After a very disappointing July with numerous wrecks and break-downs, Pat Hardy, driver of the 2H Wissota Modified is hoping he is back on track after a decent race weekend. Pat is currently tied for 3rd place with Chuck Cooper #18 at the Princeton Speedway, only 43 points behind the leader, Dennis Jones. Pat currently sits in a solid 14th place at Cedar Lake Speedway, only 70 points out of the top 10!
Pat has been driving the old 2H chassis from the past couple years since totalling his brand new car at Cedar Lake Speedway May 3, 2003. June proved to be a good month for Pat and "Old Red" with several solid top 5 finishes along with a couple heat wins. However, since the 4th of July, the 2H team has struggled with mechanical failures, wrecks and just plain bad luck.
Pat and his team are hoping after a heat win and 4th place finish in the feature at Princeton on July 25th, that things will be looking up.
The crew is hard at work maintaining "Old Red" as well as working on the new, blue 2H chassis- hoping it will make an appearance at Cedar Lake before season's end.
Pat will finish out his season running both at Princeton Speedway on Fridays and Cedar Lake Spedway on Saturdays. The 2H Team has a few post-season races planned, however, the final schedule will be determined later. But you can for sure look for Pat and the entire 2H- Hardy Racing Crew at the Wissota 100 at Cedar Lake Speedway, September 10-14th !!

A Great Weekend for the 2H Team

2003-04-29 17:53 by Pat Hardy

It was a clean sweep for Pat Hardy and the 2H Team on the first regular night of racing at the Princeton Speedway, Friday April 25th. Pat started 2nd in his heat and quickly moved to the front and score his first heat race win of the 2003 season. Pat went on to top that later in the evening during an awesome green to checkered flag battle during the night's finale Wissota Modified Feature. Pat started 11th in a packed field and steadily fought his way to the front. He never faultered after gaining the lead and took the checkered flag for his 1st Feature Win of 2003.

Pat and his team continued their streak on Saturday at the Cedar Lake Speedway where they won another heat and finished a strong 8th in the evening's Wissota Modified feature race.

Look for Pat and the entire 2H Hardy Racing Team this Friday, May 2nd at the Princeton Speedway and again on Saturday at the Cedar Lake Speedway.
