Sheldon Van Kooten certainly does have one of the best looking, and fastest cars out on the track this year!
Sheldon is entering his 11th year of racing driving a '75 Monte Carlo. Although Sheldon hasn't won a championship yet, he has had his fair share of success, including winning the Cheaters race, and the Top Dog race in '96.
This year, however is a completely different story. Sheldon took the lead, of the rest of the Street Stocks for a couple of weeks this year, and was already a feature driver. He also one his first feature race this season, and he won the 4 cylinder enduro, leading the 200 lap race for 50 some laps, also on July 22/04 Sheldon won his second feature race, which he led for close to 11 laps! He is chasing down the points leader fast!
Way to go Sheldon, and good luck this year! Scooby-Dooby-Doo!
